Every year we ask our parents to give us feedback on how they feel the school is performing and whether they feel their children are making progress. In July 2012, 321 parents took part in our annual parent survey and we are always extremely grateful for this feedback. Parent comments will be taken into consideration when updating our School Development Plan and communication plans for the coming year.

The responses have made for interesting reading and we will be working hard as we strive to raise these figures even higher:

		97% of parents said their child enjoyed coming to school
		99% said teaching was good
		96% said teachers expected a lot of their child and helped them to achieve
		98% said the school has a behaviour policy that rewards good behaviour
		92% said the school was led and managed well
		Only 1% of parents felt that becoming an Academy had made a negative impact on the school, with 62% saying they felt it had made a positive impact
