Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Play Scheme
Our out of hour’s clubs have been redeveloped and extended this year to include provision for the schools in our local collaborative. We have appointed Schoolfriendetc, a National Charity, to run this provision for us and have been working closely with them to establish this new provision. After only 8 months, the Schoolfriend clubs have received a fantastic Ofsted report – with special praise from the inspectors about achieving such a strong report after such as short time.
“Overall the quality of the provision is good. Children enjoy and achieve well at the club because staff are well qualified and committed to providing good quality childcare. Children are fully included in all activities and staff get to know their personalities and interests through positive interaction during activities. The children are kept safe and clear policies and procedures underpin the clubs aims well.” Ofsted, February 2010
