Our current school buildings date back to 1900 and are now in a poor state of repair, as well as being too small and somewhat unsuitable for learning in the 21st century.

As such, we have now received planning permission for a new school that will see Tidemill re-built in early 2011 as part of the innovative £29m Giffin Street Regeneration programme. The new school will be co-located with a library and access point and will have additional accommodation for voluntary and community groups, adult education classes, sports facilities and potentially offices for the Metropolitan Police and small business start-ups.

This exciting development will provide Tidemill with state of the art classrooms and learning environments.
