Magic Breakfast Club
We are pleased to announce that we will be starting Magic Breakfast from 15th September. The “Magic Breakfast” club will be free for all children for the first term and will open at 8.20am. Children wishing to come in for breakfast can register at Reception and then make their way up to the dining hall. Magic Breakfast are kindly providing us with bagels, cereal, porridge and fruit juice whilst the school are providing the staffing for the club. We will stop serving breakfast at 8.35pm and there will then be time for an activity such as “wake & shake” to get the children alert and ready for their day at school. The children will be taken down to the playground at 8.45am.
If you are interested in your child attending the Magic Breakfast club from September, please contact the office.
After School Clubs
At Tidemill we acknowledge the value of enrichment activities and strive to offer a range of After School Clubs which provide for academic, sports, arts and other creative interests. We currently offer 30 clubs a week with activities ranging from street dance, media, art, robotics, cookery, football, swimming, ukulele, reading and rock-it-ball. Each term, the timetable is reviewed and changes are made in response to demands, parent/carer and pupil feedback. The clubs cater for all children from Reception to Year Six, and are run by our skilled and enthusiastic staff, sports coaches and outside tutors. Clubs take place on Tuesdays to Fridays from 3.40pm to 4.40pm.
At Tidemill we are lucky enough to play host to Schoolfriend After School Club (3.30pm-6.00pm) and their Breakfast Club (7.50-9.00am). These clubs are run by Schoolfriend on the school premises. There is a charge for both sessions and full details can be obtained by calling Schoolfriend on 0871 5267158, or by visiting their website. Holiday clubs can also be booked through Schoolfriend.
