Tidemill has a large and experienced staff, there are over 50 teaching and support staff. The staffing structure of the school is designed to ensure excellent leadership and management as well as the highest quality teaching and learning.
The management structure of the school is designed to ensure good communication and efficient day to day running. It also ensures that there is a senior leader available to talk to parents or visitors if required.
Teachers are well qualified and are experienced in the age group of the classes they are teaching. All classes are supported by highly trained teaching assistants.
To ensure that we deliver a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum we have a range of specialist staff to teach children. These teachers are experts in their subjects and teach lessons as well as provide extra- curricular activities. The subjects covered include art, music and physical education.
At Tidemill every child must achieve to the best of their ability and we have a range of staff to help children requiring additional support, this might be in the area of special educational needs, English as an additional language or provision for gifted and talented pupils.
The school offers a range of extended services to parents and we have a number of school staff who support with this. Our Family Liaison Officer supports families in a number of ways and can offer help and guidance.
